I am a shy person and it was a big part of me since my early childhood. It is a part of my personality. When I meet new people and they are trying to get to know me, usually they ask me why are you so shy. How would I know why I’m so shy, I just am! And then shy people like me think that something wrong is with them and they become even shyer. So I thought to make a blog post for you all shy people because we all are at some point shy!
Don’t be ashamed because you are shy
There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! Shy is not a dirty word and people who are shy have so many good qualities! Just because people are shy that doesn’t mean they are rude and impolite. You are good enough just the way you are and you don’t have to be someone you are not!
I know for me I took a while to became less shy than I was. But shyness will always be there and you just need to learn how to deal with it. You can try to start a conversation with someone through a phone like me. Social media and blogging helped me a lot to be not just less shy but more confident too. Overcoming shyness is a process, you won’t wake up one day and be the loudest person in the room and you don’t have to be. Work on yourself and be proud cause you are trying!
It gets easier
I promise you it really does get easier! I can’t imagine myself now how I used to. I was scared to ask someone something or to not even mention that I didn’t want to call someone. You know what, just embrace yourself and your shyness. You are not just your shyness, and I’m not my shyness. Behind every shy person is actually someone that has other personalities! Don’t let it define you, guys. You are not alone and it gets easier, I promise!
